  1. Chuck says:

    First…

now that thats out of the way… this is funny. Also a double-irony in “Made in China”, and that “American Freedom” is something of an oxymoron.

    • AZ says:

I.e.: it’s not the highest quality freedom, and neither is most of the stuff produced in the PRC high quality :D

    • Deez says:

International trade is the only reason America is the last standing superpower. We send our low education, even lower paying jobs to countries that have massive populations happy to work for it. Meanwhile, the United States pulls in more money than any other country. In 2009 it was $14.2 trillion – higher than the countries debt.

It sounds like a fucking Justin Bieber concert with all the whining when it comes to the ‘debt clock’. Some people hear this total and think a foreign businessman is going to come to their door asking for a $30,000 check. They start saving money under their mattress or even worse lose faith in the economy. Chinese repomen taking back their DVD players will never happen; this is because of our total debt only a small chunk is owned to foreign banks. 75% of this debt is internal debt, or different government agencies in the process of passing money between each other. We only owe china about $350 billion out of this debt.

  2. Daniel says:

    Haha epic win.

  3. lishchuk says:

It would be so funny if it would not be a scary true…

All american freedom now is in the hands of chinese.
They are holding it for a while, then they will drop it…
It was a greedy mistake to outsource the manufacturing!

  4. Andres says:

I must say.. it doesn’t surprise me

  5. Johnny says:

How come it has no bullet holes in, on fire, or blown up?

  6. RadicalX says:

Freedom isn’t free. But it is available cheaply from China!

  7. aw4391 says:

Would I be evil to laugh at this if so LOOOOL

  8. humor me says:

    I notice the box is empty… :(

  9. AllYourFailAreBelongToUs says:

These days it’s just called “gunpowder”

  10. Chris says:

But do any of you know WHY its so true? Its because the Chinese own most of our debt!

  11. Angus Dei says:

Perhaps we could sell it back to them at a profit. The Chinese could use some freedom.

  12. Me says:

    my absolute favourite. genious.

  13. Marsman says:

Where is this world headed to?

  14. ALEX FREEDOM says:

AWESOME…. BUT THE BEST IS THE 1/1 FRENCH FREEDOM MADE IN POLYNESIA….. LOL CIAO BE NEXT… A+

  15. Uncle B says:

Yankee Doodle got sold out by his own kind! Ha!Ha!Ha! Ha!Ha!Ha!Ha!

  16. Nimbnill says:

“It’s win not epic win” is quite possibly the stupidest sentence ever typed.

  17. djland says:

Please do not believe that outsourcing in itself is the problem. The capitalistic structure is international. Please realise that this is not about countries.

  18. alinaa says:

This is so perfect, so true, yet SO SO sad.

China is a dictatorship where kids are enslaved to make toys, toddler girls are stolen away to become gymnasts, and freedom is unreachable for all but the elite. And yet… our economy would be nowhere without them.

I want to cry for the state of the world.

  19. Anna says:

What exactly was the box intended to contain?

  20. Andrew says:

Oh look. An April Fools’ date too. Maybe too obvious to comment on…

  21. anthony says:

American Freedom at what price for others. We have our fine china bowls while others have a hole in the ground. aaaahhhh the luxury and decadence of the western world.

    • Deez says:

    and it’s made in china….pfff

  23. Brandon says:

For those wondering what this ironic box actually contains… it is a line of fireworks from a company called Sky Slam. The firework is called “American Freedom.”

  24. Would I be evil to laugh at this if so LOOOOL

  25. Jasen says:

to make money is the goal of one company. where is cheaper, and a compative quality, naturly to buy there.

  26. Jasen says:

you dont suprise for that, the factories in china is 60% from foreign companies. they pay so lower saleries for the workers, and would not like to pay more one cent for the protection of the enviroment. that is right, the worker are like a slave, but it seem has nothing to do with the detatorship of the govement. you would like to do those jobs like a slave in America? I dont think so. another is the waste of the resourcence. someone in china said, the resourcence wil b empty in 10 years. they dont like to produce the cheaper products and to sale with a very lower profit, only to keep the operation of the company.they know it would be a catastrophe for the waste of the resourcence in china.
