Just so you know, there are volunteers who watch the bridge for signs of jumpers. The look for clues in body language and can call authorities to have people stopped and questioned if they look suspicious. They have saved many people including people who have tried multiple times.
Then the jumpers fail. Don’t take me wrong, it is good that these people are trying to save life’s, only if you ask me, the people that really want to jump do so eventually, and all the others are just attention-whore’s… only a small percentage is really “saved” thus the rest is just screwing up money some way or the other.
Watch the documentary “The Bridge”. You’ll see what a fine job these watchers do. The filmmakers watched one guy for quite a while, and nobody intervened. Including the filmmakers. It was the only jump in the film that was shown beginning-to-end. It was really sad to watch, especially when they interviewed families of the jumpers. I will say this, though, they guy jumped with style.
Even the phone doesn’t care about you. Just jump. There is nothing else for you to live for.
There is a cell phone down there. JUST JUMP.
If u r gunna jump at least give yourself a chance and wait till rhe phone works what IF u change your mind..
Aw, that’s sad.

I just went across that bridge yesterday and saw someone commit suicide. it was really depressing. It ruined my trip to ChinaTown.
